A total of six candidates have now filed for three open seats on the Poplar Bluff School District Board of Education.
Raymond Webb filed Monday, while Anthony Curnutt, Jerrod Murphy, David Elledge and Larry Kimbrow and Mike Price have also thrown their names in.
The April 4 election will determine positions for three expiring terms in each of the Poplar Bluff, Twin Rivers and Neelyville school districts. Each district will have three open seats.
Terms are expiring at Poplar Bluff for John Scott, Murphy and Michael Price.
Terms will expire on the Twin Rivers School Board for Jeff Arnold, Billy Watson and Josh Johnson. Arnold and Watson have both said they will not seek new terms.
Brandon Vancil has filed for the Twin Rivers board.
Neelyville incumbent Bobby Burgett has filed for re-election to his seat. Terms are also expiring for Shane Eaker and Paul Petty.
Burgett was the only candidate to have filed for the Neelyville board, according to information previously received from the district.
Filing ends Dec. 27.
Candidates for office must be 21 years of age; a citizen of the United States; a qualified voter; an inhabitant of the city or district they wish to serve in for one year; an inhabitant of the city ward for which he or she seeks office for one year and if elected, must continue to live in that ward or district throughout his or her term. No one who is in arrears for any tax lien, forfeiture or defalcation in office can be elected.
