An employee at the Poplar Bluff School Bus Garage reported at 8:31 a.m., Nov. 7 a student cut the upholstery of a seat. After the students left the bus, the employee examined the seat and found two knives and a loaded pistol magazine hidden inside. The student was identified, and this matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Paul Baker, 47, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:11 a.m., Nov. 7 during a traffic stop on South Broadway on a Butler County warrant for forgery. He was booked to in the Butler County jail.

Odessa Lee, 57, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:17 a.m., Nov. 7 during a traffic stop on West Maud Street on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on peace disturbance. Lee was unable to post bond and she was released on her own recognizance.

Sierra Coke, 24, and DJ Haynes, 26, both of Dexter were arrested at 12:07 p.m., Nov. 7 at Academy Sports, 3095 Oak Grove Rd., on suspicion of stealing. They were booked in the Butler County jail.

A maroon 2002 Dodge van was found abandoned at 8:46 p.m., Nov. 7 and blocking traffic in the 900 block of Mary Street. The vehicle was impounded and towed from the scene.
