A resident in the 1200 block of Velma Street reported on at 9:38 a.m., Nov. 15 an adult male subject fired several rounds from a pistol in the back yard of an apartment complex in the 900 block of S. 11th St. No injury or property damage was reported. The investigation continues.

Employees at Poplar Bluff Junior High reported on at 1:29 p.m., Nov. 15, that a juvenile student assaulted another juvenile student. No injury was reported. This matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Benjamin Stewart reported on at 6:46 p.m., Nov. 15 his wallet was stolen from his car while it was parked in front of his residence in the 1900 block of Iowa Street. He later noticed fraudulent transactions made to his debit card.

Michael Phillip Richardson, 33, of Gatewood, was arrested at 7:16 p.m., Nov. 15 at Jay’s Corner Store at 1040 S. Broadway. Richardson was booked in on a Doniphan municipal warrant for failure to appear on a miscellaneous motorcycle violation with a $10,000 bond and a Carter County warrant for dangerous drugs with a $25,000 bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Tarcavisa Reynolds, 42, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 8:34 p.m., Nov. 15 at Jay’s Corner Store at 1040 S. Broadway. Reynolds was booked in on a probation/parole warrant for parole violation with no bond, and Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses with a $200 bond. He was lodged in the Butler County Jail.

An adult female reported on at 10:49 p.m., Nov. 15 she was assaulted by her boyfriend at their residence in the 200 block of North C Street. The suspect left before the victim called the police.
