Randy Foster reported at 11:38 a.m., Nov. 11 he was assaulted in the 100 block of South Broadway. The suspect was identified and the matter was referred to the Prosecutor.

An adult female reported at 11:53 a.m., Nov. 11 she was assaulted by her husband inside an abandoned house in the 1200 block of Mary Street. The suspect left the scene before the victim contacted the police.

Gary Hendrix, 20, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 12:20 p.m., Nov. 11 at his residence in the 800 block of Mulberry Street. Hendrix was booked in on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense, $100 bond and Butler County warrants for property damage and stealing with a $3,500 bond. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Lee Johnson, 51, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 12:31 p.m., Nov. 11 during a traffic stop on West Pine Street. Johnson was booked in on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on stealing. He was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.

Two juveniles were detained on at 3:31 p.m., Nov. 11 for stealing at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. The juveniles reportedly stole merchandise valued at $1,048.78. The juveniles were released to a family member and the matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

A Poplar Bluff resident reported at 4 p.m., Nov. 11, that they lost a large sum of cash to a sweepstakes scam. The victim received a call from a male who congratulated them on winning a sweepstakes award of several million dollars; then asked them to send money to cover taxes and fees. After several calls asking for more money, the victim realized it was fraudulent and they contacted the police.

Laura Hawkins reported at 5:24 p.m,. Nov. 11 someone stole her debit card and used it to transfer funds online.

An adult male was detained on at 6:30 p.m., Nov. 11 after he reportedly tried to steal a drone valued at $199. The suspect was released pending review by the Prosecuting Attorney.

A black passenger vehicle fled when an officer tried to stop it for a traffic violation on at 10:59 p.m., Nov. 11. The vehicle left city limits on East Pine Street and the pursuit was terminated by the shift supervisor.

Kyle Taylor, 29, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 3:00 p.m., Nov. 12 at Walmart Supercenter. Taylor was booked in on a charge of stealing; as well as Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on possession of drug paraphernalia, stealing and peace disturbance with a $829.91 bond, Butler County warrants for receiving stolen property and forgery with a $50,000 bond and a probation/parole warrant for parole violation with no bond. Taylor was lodged in the Butler County jail.

James Dudley reported on at 6:25 p.m., Nov. 12 that an acquaintance stole his bicycle from the front porch of his residence.

Gary Davis reported on 9:13 a.m., Nov. 12 two juvenile males vandalized his mailbox. This was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Melinda Marlowe, 47, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 3:47 a.m., Nov. 13 during a traffic stop on South Westwood Boulevard. Marlowe was booked in on a Stoddard County warrant for forgery with a $7,500 bond and she was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 7:59 a.m., Nov. 13 to a report of shots fired in the 1800 block of Thomas Street. No injury or property damage were reported, and no witnesses were identified.

Aijalon Marshall, 18, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 7:59 a.m., Nov. 13 at his residence in the 1800 block of Thomas Street. Marshall was booked in on a Butler County warrant for obstructing police with a $5,000 bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Darrell Brown, 55, of Poplar Bluff, Angel Hesselrode, 19, of Poplar Bluff, and Frank Allen, 53, of Poplar Bluff, were arrestred at Home Depot at 639 S. Westwood Blvd at 3:20 a.m., Nov. 13. Brown was booked in on a charge of trespassing first degree and he was lodged in the Butler County jail. Hesselrode was booked in on charges of stealing and possession of a controlled substance and she was lodged in the Butler County jail. Allen was booked in on a Butler County warrant for burglary with a $15,000 bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Regina Ethridge, 28, of Poplar Bluff was arrested on at 5:36 p.m., Nov. 13 at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Ethridge was booked in on a charge of stealing and she was lodged in the Butler County jail.

A juvenile driver reported he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Fair Street at 8:11 p.m., Nov. 13. Both the juvenile and the other driver left the scene and no further information on the other vehicle was available.

Officers responded to the 400 block of North Main Street on at 10:24 p.m., Nov. 13 for a report of shots fired. No injury or property damage was reported.
