Mildred Swearengin
Mildred “Lois” Swearengin, 82, of Sedgewickville, Missouri, passed from this world on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Swearengin was born Feb. 5, 1940, in Qulin, Missouri. She and Norman Swearengin were united in marriage on Dec. 24, 1975, in Las Vegas. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2006.
She is survived by one daughter: Brenda (Tom) Stimmel of Cypress, Texas; one grandson: Parker Stimmel of Cypress, Texas; two brothers: Jerry (Cleta) Kearbey of Poplar Bluff and Kenny (Regina) Camdenton, Missouri; Lois is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins: Tammy (Keith) Hahn and Mary Martin, all Sedgewickville; Marilynn Martin Clark and Lance of Grandin, Missouri.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents: Dorothy and Duke Patterson; one son: Eddie Jackson; three brothers: Louis, Michael, and Steven Kearbey; nephew: Leroy Kearbey.
A graveside memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at Qulin Cemetery. The family would like to thank the caretakers and Crown Hospice.
