Earl “Butch” Bratton, 76, of Dittmer, Missouri, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, at his residence, in Dittmer. Mr. Bratton was born Jan. 16, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Walter and Alice (née Missey) Bratton. He had been employed by National Foods for nearly 30 years and was a proud Teamster. ...

Earl “Butch” Bratton, 76, of Dittmer, Missouri, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, at his residence, in Dittmer.

Mr. Bratton was born Jan. 16, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Walter and Alice (née Missey) Bratton. He had been employed by National Foods for nearly 30 years and was a proud Teamster. Butch was a member of the Spirit of St. Louis Masonic Lodge #27. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed the time he was able to spend with them, especially his grandchildren.

On Oct. 31, 1964, he married Shirley Earls. She survives.

Also surviving are two children: Gary Bratton of Dittmer, Kim Gratton of Festus, Missouri; and two grandchildren: Joshua and Jacob Gratton, both of Festus; and a special great-nephew: Kylen Earls. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his six siblings: Ethel, Geneva, Wanda Lee, Martha, Charles, and Clara Mae.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2022, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Masonic services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will immediately follow with Rev. Gary Hancock officiating. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, Missouri.
