The Princess Fiona boat, which is part of the Branson Missouri Landing Princess line, generated a lot of attention when it passed through Poplar Bluff Friday morning. The watercraft tied up traffic at Second Street and Pine Boulevard on its journey to a new home. A crew from Kenco High Load Specialists accompanied the vessel to raise lights and utility lines. They had to take down a couple of stoplights that were too low, authorities said. Municipal Utilities employees followed the Kenco group in case they were needed. Kenco Bucket Trucks is nationwide transport support services for super loads. City officials apparently had no advanced notification of the boat moving through town until it showed up. An overpass on Highway 60 was reportedly too low for them to go under. Local law enforcement agencies handled traffic control.
