Betty L. Trunnell, (nee Roland) of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away Oct. 17, 2022.
Born to Maggie Belle (Duncan) and John Truman Roland of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, April 4, 1934, the seventh of eight children (Robert Otho, William Franklin, Nola Mae, Emma Lee, Bryl, John Jr. and Flora Gene).
Betty married Thomas E. Trunnell in 1954; he preceded her in death, Oct. 25, 2013.
Betty believed in family, neighbor helping neighbor and faith. Always willing to open her heart and her home to family in need, she will be missed by those she touched with her humor, advice, and stories of family history.
She is survived by son, Timothy Trunnell; grandson, Collin Trunnell; daughter-in-law, Sue (Bissett) Trunnell; sister, Flora Gene Stotz; many dear nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service: Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, 1 p.m., College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Illinois.
