Terri Ann Hale, 64, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 5, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Roscoe Lee Dufur and Julie (Faifer) Dufur.
Terri was an amazing woman. She was known for her generous spirit, being strong-willed, and possessing an infectious laugh. Terri’s faith led her to Second Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff, where she enjoyed attending. In Terri’s early adult life, she took up stained glass as a hobby, enjoyed going to the Muny, and threw herself wholeheartedly into raising her three girls. When given a choice for a meal, seafood was her favorite. She collected elephants and enjoyed spending time with her family, finding bargains at thrift stores, and watching old movies on TV. Terri leaves behind a legacy of love and determination that will carry on for generations to come.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Walter Hale, and one grandbaby Jovie Maasen.
Terri is survived by her three daughters, Alycia (Dustin) Maasen of Linn, Jessica (Jeff) Barnes of Park Hills, and Tara (Greg Steffens) Brown of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren, Mikaden (Alice) Chitwood, Emma Brown, Jacob Barnes, Jett and Jagger Maasen.
Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, at Second Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff; funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Curtis Crowley officiating.
