DEXTER — A 43-year-old man is facing several felony charges after drugs and a firearm were allegedly found Tuesday at his residence during a search.

Billy J. Robinson, 43, of Dexter is charged with two Class C felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, three Class D felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, one Class D felony count of unlawful possession of a firearm and one Class E felony count of unlawful use of a weapon.

According to a press release from Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner, a search warrant was executed Tuesday afternoon at Robinson’s residence in the 200 block of South Mulberry Street in Dexter after an extensive narcotics investigation.

Members of the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department, the Dexter Police Department, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force executed the warrant and reportedly found Robinson there.

The search also allegedly turned up approximately 5.8 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 550 grams of marijuana, several prescription pills and a .22 caliber rifle.

Robinson currently being held on a no-bond warrant at the Stoddard County jail. He was arraigned Thursday.
