Officers responded to Planet Fitness, 950 N. Westwood Blvd., at 2:06 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, for a report of a white male behaving strangely. The subject was banned from the property by management and he left the premises.

William Fanter, 43, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 4:21 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at Walmart Supercenter, 333 S. Westwood Blvd. on a charge of stealing. He was released pending review of charges by the prosecutor.

Jillian Hernandez, 34, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:29 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 at a residence in the 300 block of West Henry Street on Poplar Bluff Municipal warrants for failure to appear on peace disturbance. Hernandez was unable to post bond and was released on her own recognizance.

Jacob Coblentz, 47, of Wappapello, was arrested at 9:43 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 at Gates Rubber Company on a Chester County warrant for failure to appear on driving under the influence of drugs. He was booked in the Butler County jail.

Franklin Burkhart, 29, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 10:35 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at the Skate Park on Moran Street on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on violation of an order of protection. He was booked into the Butler County Jail.

Mark Mock, 54, of Poplar Bluff was booked at 10:49 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30 in at the police department on Poplar Bluff warrants for failure to appear on peace disturbance and traffic violations. Mock was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.

James Peterson reported at 10:36 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, tools were stolen from a trailer at Advanced Plumbing, 1600 W. Maud St.

Gary Wills reported at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, property missing from his residence after he allowed a white female acquaintance stay with him at his residence on South Broadway.

Officers responded at 3:32 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, to a residence in the 1800 block of Seifert Drive for an unresponsive person. EMS administered Narcan, and the patient recovered.

Officers responded at 2:54 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, to a residence in the 700 block of North 12th Street for a report of shots fired in the area. Residents reported a juvenile male came to the residence, flourished a pistol, and threatened to return later to shoot into the residence. A juvenile inside the residence stepped outside and fired two rounds into the ground to discourage the juvenile suspect from returning. The suspect fled prior to officer arrival. This matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Devonta Dailey, 26, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:07 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at his residence in the 1700 block of Illinois Avenue on a charge of assault, and Poplar Bluff Municipal warrants for assault, property damage, and traffic offenses. He was booked in the Butler County Jail.

Veronica Davis, 52, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:52 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, during a traffic stop on Hickory Street on Poplar Bluff Municipal warrants for Failure to Appear on Traffic Offenses. Davis was unable to post bond and she was released on her own recognizance.

Sidney Jones, 47, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:47 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, during a traffic stop on Fifth Street on a Poplar Bluff Municipal warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense. Jones was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.

Christopher Blake, 49, of Poplar Bluff was arrested On 10/2 at 2:05 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, during a traffic stop on South Fifth Street on Wayne County warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses and a Butler County warrant for possession of amphetamine. He was booked in the Butler County jail.

Whitney Helton reported at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, an adult male acquaintance stole her purse at the Internet Café at 30 Highway 142, and drove from the scene in their truck. Officers spoke with the suspect at his residence on Park Street and was unable to determine rightful ownership of the truck. The truck was impounded and towed from the scene.

Darion Kinder, 26, and Carlee Eifert, 28, both of Poplar Bluff, were arrested at 7:51 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, on the parking lot at Jay’s Corner Store at 1040 South Broadway. Kinder was booked in on charges of suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and released pending review of charges. Eifert was booked on charges of suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and a St. Francois County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense. She was booked into the Butler County jail.

Sonia Bishop, 30, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:27 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, in front of her residence in the 400 block of North Second Street on a Poplar Bluff Municipal warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense. Bishop was unable to post bond and she was released on her own recognizance.

Vendelicia Campbell reported at 8:42 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, the tires on her vehicle were slashed while it was parked in the 2300 block of Leonard Drive.
