Jennifer Brown, 38, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, during a traffic stop on South 11th Street on a Poplar Bluff Municipal warrant for failure to appear on no proof of insurance. Brown was unable to post bond and she was released on her own recognizance.

Amanda Tippen, 39, of Poplar Bluff reported at 10:14 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, her car was stolen by a male acquaintance after they left Mike’s Resale, 1015 East Harper St. During the investigation it was determined that Tippen had an outstanding warrant and was booked on a Butler County warrant for burglary. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

An employee at Walmart Supercenter reported at 1:56 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, a white female who was previously banned from the property for stealing was trespassing in the store. The female was detained and released pending review of charges.
