Christeen Gambling, 97, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Sept. 28, 2022, at her residence. She was born Dec. 25, 1924, to the late Henry McCallister and Josephine “Vaughn” McCallister at Valley Mines, Missouri.
On July 14, 1937, at Alton, Missouri she was married to Emmett Gambling. He preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 1999.
She is survived by her children; Jewell Percy of Doniphan, Missouri, Agnes Labine of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Shirley Collier of Senath, Missouri, Patricia Gamblin of Doniphan, Missouri, Roy Gambling of Fairdealing, Bobby Gambling of Doniphan, Missouri, David Gambling of Adair, Oklahoma, Billy Gambling of Chelsea, Oklahoma, Larry Gambling of Chelsea, Oklahoma, and Raymond Gambling of Land O’ Lakes, Florida. She is also survived by; thirty-eight grandchildren, as well as several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; five children, Wesley Leroy Gambling, John H. Gambling and Lloyd Ray Gambling, Geraldine Gambling and Thomas Wayne Gambling; as well as seven grandchildren.
She was a member of the Safe Haven Community Church at Doniphan and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, picture puzzles, and flowers. She loved her family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 4, starting at 6:00 p.m. with the funeral on Wednesday. Oct. 5, starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Bardley Cemetery with Debbie Roberson and Donnie Fowler officiating.
