A 26-year-old Poplar Bluff man was killed Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Davis Street, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to the report, Bradley A. Ward, 26, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2004 Honda Shadow motorcycle southbound on Grand Avenue at 12:18 p.m. when it struck an eastbound 2005 Toyota Tacoma operated by J. Roy T. Webb, 47, of Poplar Bluff.
Ward was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:33 p.m. by Butler County Coroner Jim Akers and his body was taken to the Poplar Bluff city morgue. Ward’s death is the 46th in Troop E this year.
