Edna Maxine Hendrickson, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at her residence in Poplar Bluff surrounded by loved ones.
Mrs. Hendrickson was born Aug. 23, 1946, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of the late Warren and Goldie Ethridge. She was a real estate agent for several years; she and her husband owned and operated K&H Real Estate in Poplar Bluff. After her retirement, Maxine volunteered her time with the VFW Auxiliary at the John J Pershing VA Medical Center. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
On May 21, 1964, she married James William Hendrickson. He survives. Also surviving are two children: Kim (Kevin) Forsythe, of Williamsville, Missouri, and Bill (Shelia) Hendrickson of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren: Cyndi, Jordan (Annette), Dalton, and Caleb Forsythe, Casey and Ally Hendrickson; seven great-grandchildren: Charlie, Ceyton, Lydia, Megan, Cyan, Nora, and Owen; brothers: David (Irene) Ethridge, James (Emily) Ethridge, John (Jan) Ethridge. Sisters: Patsy (James) Harrelson, Catherine Koch, Dorothy “Dotty” Kiser; Hazel Williams, Mary (Jim) Champion and a sister in law: Shirley Ethridge. In addition to her parents, Maxine was also preceded in death by brothers: Warren Ethridge Jr., Paul Ethridge and sisters: Mildred Hicks, Beulah Ethridge. There are several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends that will miss her dearly.
