Poplar Bluff archer Josh Miller has completed the qualifying rounds at the 2022 Rinehart 3D World Archery Championship in Italy. He is situated well within the top 20 longbow archers in the world for the men's division.
Miller is ranked 16th as Team USA moves forward, with teammates Kenneth Jordan at 7th and Shiloh Butts in 1st.
Miller wrote: “Day 2 of qualifications are in the books. I shot a little better today but dropped in the standings to 16th as a lot of shooters shot even better! I set a goal to make top 16 and then take it 1 arrow at a time through the eliminations. I can now hold my head high as I’m proud to be able to stand among the giants of the nations in the shootoffs. I have a long path ahead of me, but am ready for the journey. I will not be shooting again til Thursday. Til then my friends.”
Miller is delivering exclusive updates on the competition to the Daily American Republic. More information on the competition is available at 3dworldarchery2022.it.
