A juvenile at the Poplar Bluff High School was found in possession of a THC vape device on campus at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30. The device was seized and the matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Raymond Kettwig reported at 10:52 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, his vehicle was struck while it was parked at Home Depot by a vehicle that reportedly left the scene.

Officers responded to Walmart Supercenter, 333 South Westwood Blvd., for a drug overdose at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1. The victim was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Kyle Hahler, 34, of Wappapello was arrested at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. on a Jefferson County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Alvin Gulledge reported at 11:17 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, the license plates were taken from his truck while it was parked in the 200 block of Henry Street. A short time later, the plates were found on a truck parked at Happy Mart, 1800 S. Broadway. The plates were recovered and returned to the owner. Keith Bradley, the owner of the truck, was issued a criminal summons for stealing and he was released at the scene.

Angelica Deaton, 37, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 4:21 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at a residence in the 1200 block of Nooney Street on a Butler County failure to appear warrant for stealing. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Tatum Casey, 19, of Patterson was contacted at 5:40 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, on the parking lot at Three Rivers College, 2080 Three Rivers Blvd., after employees smelled the odor of marijuana around her car. A small amount of marijuana was seized and Casey was released at the scene with a criminal summons.

Mary Osborn reported at 5:50 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 1, her brother’s truck was struck by another vehicle while it was parked in the 1100 block of North Main Street. The other vehicle reportedly left the scene.

Melissa Trice, 41, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:42 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 during a traffic stop on Highway 53 on Poplar Bluff municipal failure to appear warrants for stealing counts and Carter County warrants for traffic violation. Trice was booked at the Butler County Jail.

A license plate and check book were found at 12:29 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, lying in the 2200 block of North Westwood Boulevard. They were placed into evidence to be returned to the owner.

Officers responded at 6:25 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, to a residence in the 900 block of South 11th Street for a domestic disturbance and property damage complaint. Neither party wanted to press charges.
