An employee at Save-A-Lot, 451 Highway 53, reported at 8:59 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, a shoplifting incident which happened Sunday, Aug. 28. Two white males were caught on surveillance video stealing packages of steaks and ribs. The suspects were identified and charges will follow.

Ray Overton, 27, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at Hendrickson Park on charges of first-degree sexual misconduct, possession of marijuana, and a Butler County warrant for parole violation. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Michael Sharp, 41, of Wappapello was arrested at 9:41 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at the Probation and Parole Community Supervision Center on a Wayne County failure to appear warrant for dangerous drugs. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Jason Harri, 43, of Malden was arrested at 10:31 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, during a traffic stop on South Fifth Street on a Poplar Bluff municipal failure to appear warrant for no insurance. Harris was unable to post bond but he was released on his own recognizance.

Stephen Cantrell reported at 1:01 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, someone obtained a credit card in his name and used it to make a purchase.

Jesse Radosh, 30, of Poplar Bluff at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, turned himself in at the front desk of the police department on a Poplar Bluff municipal failure to appear warrant for no insurance. He was released on bond.

Nathan Grogan, 24, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:38 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, during the investigation of an motor vehicle accident in the 800 block of Poplar street on charges of possession of amphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending review by the Butler County Prosecutor.

Lindsay Fears was arrested at 3:32 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at the Probation and Parole Community Supervision Center at 1441 Black River Industrial Park Road on Poplar Bluff municipal failure to appear warrants for stealing. Fears was unable to post bond but she was released on her own recognizance.

John Galloway reported at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, a Beretta pistol missing from his vehicle.

An employee at Save-A-Lot reported at 6:51 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, a black male concealed a food item on his person and left the store without paying for it.

A hospice nurse reported at 10:23 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, a quantity of a prescription drug was missing from a patient’s residence.

Patricia Cody, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:44 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, during the investigation of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Main and Davis streets on charges of DWI, driving while suspended and leaving the scene of an accident. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 10:24 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, to the parking lot at the Libla Center at Three Rivers College for a domestic disturbance. No injuries were reported and neither party wanted to press charges.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

Aron M. Griffin, 32, of Qulin was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, Aug. 31, on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Justin R. Hayman, 45, of Ellsinore was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, Aug. 31, on a Dunklin County failure to appear warrant for non-support.

Justin A. Morgan, 45, of Poplar Bluff at the Butler County jail Thursday, Sept. 1, on suspicion of first-degree trespassing.

Zachary J. Underberg, 27, of Oglesville was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, Aug. 31, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Ricky L. Coble, 63, of Qulin was arrested at 11:32 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, in Butler County on suspicion of felony DWI, felony leaving the scene of a crash, no operator’s license and no insurance. He was booked at the Butler County jail on a 24-hour hold.
