Anthony David Belt, 34, of Marshfield, Missouri passed away suddenly on Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, in Evansville, Indiana.
Anthony was born May 8, 1988, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Chris and Michelle Webb Belt. He was of the Christian faith. Anthony was employed by Ingram Barge Company as Mate and had recently been accepted into the Pilot Trainee Program.
On July 4, 2012, he was married to his soulmate and love of his life Sherry Oxley in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It was the small stuff he enjoyed the most, like laughing at his crazy dogs, sharing silly dad jokes and a good steak. He would always talk about his “River Family” and the people he would meet on his journey.
He will be forever remembered by his contagious laugh and beautiful smile.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Sherry; his father, Chris (Virginia) Belt of Hunter, Missouri; his mother, Michelle (Doug) Mandry of Mayfield, Kentucky; his brother, Jonathon (Susan) Wells of Ellsinore; two sisters, Faith Mandry and Skylar Mandry of Mayfield; as well as a host of other relatives, friends, and colleagues.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Truman and Connie Belt and Frank and Helen Webb.
The visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Keith Allred officiating.
