Brice Harley, 37, of Poplar Bluff was arrested 1:31 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, during a traffic stop South 11th Street on Poplar Bluff municipal failure to appear warrants for domestic assault and property damage. Harley was unable to post bond but he was released on his own recognizance.

Gregory Leach was arrested at 5:06 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Jay’s Corner Store, 1040 S. Broadway, on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and property damage. He was lodged at the Butler County jail.

Curtis Hesselrode, 42, of Poplar Bluff was arrested 7:26 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, on Ninth Street on Butler County warrants for invasion of privacy, and larceny, and two Butler County failure to appear warrants for burglary. Hesselrode was lodged in the Butler County jail.

James Foreman, 34, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:41 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Probation and Parole Community Supervision Center at 1441 Black River Industrial Park Road on a Poplar Bluff municipal failure to appear warrant for property damage. He was unable to post bond, but was released on his own recognizance.

Saturday, Aug. 20, officers tried to stop a blue or purple Ford Mustang which fled from a parking lot in the 1400 block of Herschel Bess Boulevard. The pursuit was terminated due to high speeds and reckless driving.

She was booked at the Butler County jail.

An employee at the Forestry Service reported at 4:36 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, a burglary at the office at 1420 Maud St.

Several juveniles and an adult male were allegedly found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Seventh Street at 9:10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22. The juveniles were released to parents at the scene. The vehicle was uninsured and it was impounded and towed.

Victims reported three male suspects in a passenger vehicle attacked them as they walked on Park Street and left the scene. An adult male victim was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center emergency room for treatment of injuries.

The suspect was identified as an adult former student, and a criminal summons was mailed to him.

A 53-year-old man sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 11:05 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, on U.S. Highway 67, 10 miles south of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, Eddie L. Hewitt, 53, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2008 Chevrolet 1500 northbound and had stopped to make a left turn when it was struck in the rear by a northbound 2016 International tractor operated by Steven R. Adams, 53, of Houston, Texas.

Hewitt was transported by private conveyance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Broderick, 39, of Campbell was arrested at 1:03 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, in Dunklin County on a Dunklin County felony warrant, and on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of drug paraphernalia (methamphetamine and marijuana). She was booked at the Dunklin County jail.

A 48-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 7:45 p,m. Friday, Aug. 19, on Highway N, two miles south of Oxly.

According to the report, Amber D. Mullins, 48, of Oxly was operating a 2004 Dodge Dakota southbound when it ran off the road and struck a ditch.

Mullins was taken via ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A 75-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 12:04 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at the intersection of Business Highway 67 and Cravens Lane, on the southern edge of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, Margie A. Miller, 75, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2002 Dodge Dakota southbound, making a left turn, when it struck a northbound 2011 Mazda 3 operated by Emily T. Hendrix, 22, of Poplar Bluff.

Miller was transported by private vehicle to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A 43-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, on County Road 625, two miles south of Dexter.

According to the report, Kathryn A. Mayberry, 38, of Dexter was operating a 2017 Buick Enclave northbound when it crossed the center line and struck a southbound 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Kelley R. Alsup, 43, of Dexter.

Alsup was transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

A four-year-old boy sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the intersection of County Road 352 and County Road 353, one mile south of Piedmont.

According to the report, David R. Wright, 22, of Piedmont was operating a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze northbound when it began avoiding parked motor vehicles and struck a bridge embankment.

The boy was transported by Clearwater Ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A 50-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, on U.S. Highway 67 at Cherokee Pass.

According to the report, Rushell K. Lazalier, 50, of Fredericktown was operating a 1998 Lincoln Town Car eastbound when it attempted to cross the northbound lanes of U.S. 67. This resulted in it being struck in the side by a northbound 2017 Lincoln Versa operated by Patricia R. Garza, 50, of Poplar Bluff.

Garza was taken by ambulance to Mercy South in St. Louis.

A 55-year-old man sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 4 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, on Highway T, eight miles north of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, Robert J. Ordway II, 55, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2004 Honda 1800 southbound when it struck a deer in the road.

Ordway was taken via ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A 37-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 11:10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, on Highway 142, one mile west of Oxly.

According to the report, Judith F. Wyatt, 74, of Naylor was operating a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound when it struck a guardrail, crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2016 Dodge Caravan operated by Jody A. Long, 37, of Qulin. Thirty feet of guardrail was damaged in the crash.

Long was transported via Medic One to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

She was booked at the Stoddard County jail on a 24-hour hold.

Brennon L. Brame, 27, of Ellington was arrested at 7:19 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, in Reynolds County on suspicion of felony resisting arrest. At 7:28 p.m., Brame was arrested on a Reynolds County felony warrant for obstructing police, a Reynolds County misdemeanor warrant for trespassing, a felony Butler County warrant for non-support and a Dent County failure to appear warrant for a conservation offense. He was booked at the Reynolds County jail.
