Minette Antoinette Cochran, 56, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, at her home in Williamsville, Missouri.
Minette was born Feb. 1, 1966, to Joseph and Janet (Adams) Voirol in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Kelly Cochran Sept. 22, 2021, in Poplar Bluff.
Minette attended church at Northpoint Nazarene Church. She was a hard-working determined woman. She took pride in being a nurse and serving others. She loved traveling, gardening, fishing, hosting family gatherings, bonfires, and baking. Minette’s most prestigious title was Nana and her greatest joys in life were her grandbabies.
Minette is survived by her husband and life partner for 25 years, Kelly Cochran; two sons, Curtis Fouts and Larry Rushing; four daughters, Kellie (Bruce) Goodrich, Andrea (James) Reeves, Stephanie (Justin) Tinker, and Brittany (Zach) Smith; three sisters; three brothers; and a host of grandchildren.
Minette was preceded by both parents; one son, John Bishop.
Visitation will be held from 1 -2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Greg Gilberto officiating. Burial will take place at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
