Ronald C. Davis, 88, of Fisk, Missouri, died Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Davis was born Feb. 5, 1934 in Qulin, son of the late Fred and Lila Davis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired from Amax Zinc Company in Sauget, Illinois. After retiring he enjoyed farming, raising cattle and spending time with his grandkids.
On July 2, 1955, he married Peggy Morries. She preceded him in death May 12, 2005.
He is survived by two children: Ronald “Steve” Davis and wife, Melinda, of Bozeman, Montana and his daughter Sandy Katsahnias and husband, George, of Shady Shores, Texas; three siblings: Faye Morries, Marilyn Howell and Arlie Davis; six grandchildren: Kathryn Katsahnias, Bryce Katsahnias, Timothy Davis, Tyler Davis, Rick Meyer, and Kim Onder; seven great-grandchildren, and a close friend, Wanda Norden. He was also preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will follow 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Placher officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley, Missouri.
