Junior John Tippen, age 72, of Poplar Bluff, MO, died Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at his residence, in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Tippen was born February 8, 1950, in Wappapello, MO, son of the late Joseph and Pearl Tippen. In 1967 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. On November 1, 1969, he married Marlene Tippen. She survives. Also surviving are two children: John (Carrie) Tippen of Eminence, MO, and Laura Tippen-Brown of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren: Tyler, Johnathan, Tuesday, Trinity, Wyatt, and Kaylee; six great-grandchildren; one brother: Robert (Debra) Tippen of High Ridge, MO; three sisters: Mae Mays and Barbara Hoeft both of Elizabeth, CO, and Linda Sandusky of OR. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son: Jason Tippen; and six siblings.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Monday, July 11, 2022, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
