A ribbon cutting was held Monday at John’s Pharmacy, formerly known as Dille’s Discount Pharmacy. The 909 W. Pine St. location was acquired in 2016 by John’s Pharmacy of Cape Girardeau, but the name remained the same until last week. Over the years, the family-owned pharmacy has operated under the ownership of pharmacists Jim Dille and Gary Simmons. This change will bring the location in alignment with the parent company and allow it to better meet its goals of serving patients, according to the company.
