A special graduation was held May 19 for students in the Poplar Bluff Technical Career Center cosmetology, esthetician, barbering programs. The TCC programs are overseen by director Charles Kinsey; cosmetology coordinator Amanda Howard; and cosmetology instructor Erin Boyer.
A catered luncheon from Las Margaritas was provided for “soon to be graduates and their guests,” according to staff.
“When students enter our programs, supportive family and loved ones are a very important part of the educational process because they help us encourage student success,” said Kinsey.
Certificates and special awards were presented by Howard.
“This is a wonderful group of students. They have a tremendous amount of talent and I look forward to seeing them thrive in their future careers,” Howard said.
