Russell Hargrave and wife, Debbie Kirby Hargrave, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday, May 26.
The couple was married May 26, 1972, at the Centerton, Arkansas, United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ray Burrows.
Russell served 22 years in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of master sergeant. They then made their home in Rogers, Arkansas, on Beaver Lake. Russell continued working as a Disabled Veterans Representative with the Arkansas State Employment Office. He retired in 1999. Debbie retired after 26 years with Arvest Bank.
The couple loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. They traveled May 16 to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to see The Eagles perform at the BOK Center for an early celebration. On May 26, they will enjoy dinner at The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks near Branson, Missouri.
