A juvenile is in custody following an alleged shooting of 47-year-old man early Friday morning.
Poplar Bluff Police Officers responded at 3:35 a.m. to a residence in the 1600 block of N. Fifth Street in reference to a shooting, according to police reports.
The report stated, an adult male had been shot four times in the abdomen, allegedly by a juvenile. The juvenile had fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
The adult male was transported from the scene by ambulance, and according to a source, he had undergone surgery for his injuries.
The juvenile suspect was later arrested and released to the Butler County Juvenile Office.
