Alana Ross-McDonald, 22, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:15 a.m. Friday, May 13, at a residence in the 600 block of Cherry Street. She was booked at the Butler County jail on charges of third degree domestic assault and third degree assault on a law enforcement officer.

B.J. Nelson reported at 7:38 a.m., Friday, May 13, the license plates were stolen from his truck while it was parked in the 800 block of Fay Street.

Keith Hodge reported at 11:12 a.m. Friday, May 13, mail was missing from the mailbox at his residence in the 900 block of West Maud street.

Phillip Graves, 40, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 12:34 p.m. Friday, May 13, after a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 600 block of Kinzer street. Graves was booked in on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, fourth degree domestic assault and property damage. He was booked at the Butler County Jail.

James Foreman, 34, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 5:58 p.m. Friday, May 13, in the 900 block of Maud street. Foreman was booked at the Butler County jail on a warrant for parole violation.

A staff member at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center Behavioral Health Unit at 2620 North Westwood Blvd surrendered three plastic baggies of narcotics they seized from a patient at 11:33 p.m. Friday, May 13. The narcotics were placed in evidence for destruction.

An adult male reported at 12:50 a.m. Saturday, May 14, he was stabbed on the parking lot at Walmart Supercenter, 333 South Westwood Blvd. The victim was transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center by ambulance. At the same time, Wal-Mart management reported someone was on their parking lot, cutting tires on a vehicle.

Detectives reviewed Walmart surveillance video footage and identified the suspect as Keith Gillmer, 40, of Poplar Bluff.

Gillmer was interviewed at the Poplar Bluff Police Department and admitted he had slashed the victim with a machete during a fight. Gillmer was booked on charges of first degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and property damage. He was released pending review of charges by the Butler County prosecutor.

Tybius Townsend reported at 8:34 a.m. Saturday, May 14, a motorcycle was stolen from his residence in the 300 block of West Midland street. At 9:30 p.m. the vehicle was found abandoned in the 1500 block of Grand Avenue.

Keith Hodge was arrested at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at his residence in the 900 block of Maud street. Hodge was booked at the Butler County jail on charges of first degree burglary, second degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, and second degree property damage.

Michelle Thompson, 30, of Poplar Bluff, and Tiashia Officer, 31, of Poplar Bluff, were cited at 10:55 p.m. Saturday, May 14, for affray following a confrontation in the 3100 block of Warrior Lane.

James Stadin, 27, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at noon, Saturday, May 14, in the 400 block of West Victor Street for an outstanding warrant. At the time of his arrest, Stadin had a plastic bag containing what he identified as heroin in his pocket. Stadin was booked at the Butler County jail on warrant for possession of a controlled substance and a new charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Connie Anderson, 61, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 12:24 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at her residence after she threatened to kill her landlord. Anderson was booked at the Butler County jail on charges of armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, and fourth degree assault.

Drayden French reported at 2:28 p.m. Saturday, May 14, the theft of approximately $700 from a gambling machine at the Winning Circle at 120 North 10th Street. The investigation continues.

Aalaeya Burgess reported at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 14, her vehicle was struck while it was parked at Wal-Mart Supercenter at 333 South Westwood Blvd. The other vehicle left the scene.

Trinette Greenwood reported at 7:19 p.m. Saturday, May 14, her Apple Air Pods were stolen.

Archie Cox was arrested at 5:27 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at his residence in the 700 block of West Vine street. Cox was booked at the Butler County jail on charges of third degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

A juvenile male reported at 7:51 a.m. Friday, May 13, he was attacked by two juvenile males in the restroom at Poplar Bluff High School. This matter was referred to the Butler County Juvenile Office.

POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters responded at 8:54 a.m. Friday, May 13, to a smoke scare in the 1600 block of Sanders Avenue. Firefighters were unable to locate anything burning.

Firefighters responded at 12:24 p.m. Friday, May 13, to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of nPoplar and Fifth streets. A police officer was at the scene and everyone was out of their vehicles.

James M. Adams, 50, of Poplar Bluff was booked at the Butler County jail Sunday, May 15, on a warrant for second degree arson.

George D. Allensworth, 34, of Fisk was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, May 13, on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Christopher T. Alverez, 25, of Poplar Bluff was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, May 13, on a failure to appear warrant for speeding.

Steven C. Counts, 40, of Poplar Bluff was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, May 13, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Dereck J. Darlington, 50, of Poplar Bluff was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, May 13, to serve 24 hours of shock time.

Neleal L. Elsworth, 52, of Malden was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, May 13, on a warrant for stealing.

Dustin W. Kelly, 26, of Poplar Bluff was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, May 13, on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Christopher L. Law, 44, of Poplar Bluff was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, May 13, on a writ of habeas corpus.

Derik P. Ray, 35, of Scott City was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, May 13, on a writ of habeas corpus.

Charles W. Stubblefield, 38, of Qulin was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, May 13, on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Michael B. Gunter, 30, of Benton was arrested at 9:24 p.m. Saturday, May 14, in Stoddard County on a felony warrant for larceny and on suspicion of no valid driver’s license and speeding. He was booked at the Stoddard County jail.

Mark W. Buller, 38, of Ellington was arrested at 1:33 a.m. Sunday, May 15, in Stoddard County on suspicion of DWI, failure to drive on the right half of the road and failure to signal. He was released.

Steven W. Eaton, 41, of Patterson was arrested at 4:47 p.m. Sunday, May 15, in Iron County on suspicion of DWI and failure to maintain lane. He was released.

Two people sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9:22 a.m. Monday, May 16, on Business 67 east of County Road 301, one-half mile south of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, Tammy L. Laramore, 57, of Poplar Bluff was improperly parked on the road in an eastbound 2015 Chevrolet Spark. Meanwhile, Joseph M. Glastetter, 51, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2011 Jeep Cherokee eastbound when he suffered a medical emergency and struck the rear of Laramore’s vehicle.

Glastetter and a passenger in his vehicle, Anna J. Hill, 87, of Poplar Bluff, were transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
