NEELYVILLE, Mo. — Mary Geneva Crossen, 93, of Neelyville, Missouri, passed away, May 13, 2022, at The Manor at Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
She was born, July 3, 1928, at Neelyville, Missouri, to the late Norman L. Grimes and Sarah Hancock Grimes.
She was married Feb. 12, 1949, to Doyle Crossen at Pocahontas, Arkansas. He preceded her in death Aug. 29, 1991.
She is survived by sons, Authur Crossen of Wappapello and Bob Crossen of Neelyville; three daughters, Diane Julian of Michigan, Carolyn Shreve of Neelvyille, and Genna Baccus of Poplar Buff, Missouri; as well as 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Crossen, and daughter, Joyce Lawson, and five brothers and three sisters.
Geneva was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Church of Neelyville, Missouri and she enjoyed cooking, music, and puzzles.
There will be a graveside service, Tuesday, May 17, 2022, starting at 10 a.m. in the Kinsey Cemetery, near Harviell, Missouri.
