FISK, Mo. — Eurma Lou Morgan, 87, of Fisk, Missouri, died Monday, May 9, 2022 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mrs. Morgan was born Feb. 18, 1935 in Butler County, Missouri, to the late Chester and Birdia Mattingly. On April 9, 1952, she married Truman Lee Morgan. They shared 69 years together before he preceded her in death Nov. 24, 2021.
Eurma was an active member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church for many years. She took great pride in serving others, from her wonderful cooking, to caring for countless children, to traveling in a group with others to nursing homes to sing to the residents. Above all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy and the light of her life.
She is survived by one daughter: Vicky (Gary) Weimholt of Jefferson City, Missouri; one son: Keith (Teresa) Morgan of Fenton, Missouri; five grandchildren: Amy (Eric) Hiller, Ali Weimholt, Megan (Jon) Altheuser, Krista Simonds, Brittany (Devin) Jaggers; six great-grandchildren: Morgan, Madison, and Samantha Altheuser, Corbin Jaggers, Otto and Nathanael Hiller; and four siblings: T.V., Aubra, and Maxuel “Mack” Mattingly, all of St. Louis, Missouri, and Dale Mattingly of Marble Hill, Missouri.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son: Stanley Morgan; and three infant siblings.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2022, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Danny Dunivan officiating. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley.
