More than $8 million in road improvement projects have been awarded for Southeast Missouri.
The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the contracts during its regular meeting on May 4. Awarded contracts include pavement repair contracts, improved lighting, erosion control, chevron installation, and striping.
Contracts include the following:
• A $564,000 contract was awarded to Collins & Hermann, Inc., for guard cable and guard rail repairs along various routes in the Southeast District.
• A $2,397,500 contract was awarded to Collins & Hermann, Inc., for guard cable and guard rail repairs along various routes in the Southeast District.
• A $1,470,893 contract was awarded to Koch Electric, Inc., for intersection lighting improvements at various locations throughout the Southeast District.
• A $1,583,522 contract was awarded to Lappe Cement Finishing, Inc., for the addition of a center turn lane on Route 51 from Old St. Mary Road to Brenda Avenue in Perryville, Missouri.
• A $983,808 contract was awarded to H.R. Quardi Contractors for erosion control repairs along Routes 60 and 67 at various locations.
• A $1,107,599 contract was awarded to Road Runner Safety Services, Inc., for chevron installation along various routes throughout the Southeast District.
• A $206,932 contract was awarded to C-Hill Civil Contractors for pavement repairs on Route AB two miles east of Route 25 in Cape Girardeau County.
• A $1,675,856 contract was awarded to TraMar Contracting, Inc., for striping along Routes 60 and 67 in the Southeast District.
