NEELYVILLE, Mo. — Robert Lee Smith, 70, of Summersville, Missouri passed from this life April 20, 2022 in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born Oct. 11, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri to Raymond and Lucille Smith. Robert spent his professional life as a business owner and truck driver. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Robert leaves behind his wife, Sue; several loved ones, friends and family: father, Raymond (Hazel) Smith; sister, Linda (Van) Murray; brothers, Wilbert (Rita) Smith and Charles David Smith; children, Talisha (Jake) Scott, Peggy (Derek) Kelley, Ginnifer (Jason) Jobgen, Ryan (Mandy) Smith, Dustin Smith, Emilee (Nathan) Brewer; grandchildren, Joshua Parker Jones, Aaron Jones, Philip Scott, Gwyn Scott, Chance Scott, Parker Layne Scott, Ashlynn Kelley, Garett Kelley, Karsen Kelley, Clare Jobgen, Adam Jobgen, Kobie Bonham, and Mason Smith; great-grandchildren, Philip Scott Jr., Sophia Scott. Robert was also blessed with 12 stepchildren, 36 step-grandchildren, 32 step-great-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren.
Robert joins his beloved mother, Lucille (Smith) Politte, and brother, Leon Smith, in his new heavenly home.
Family and friends will gather at Williams Cemetery in Corning, Arkansas at 1 p.m. April 30, 2022 for a graveside service with Charles N. Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the William’s Cemetery fund at Fowler & Son’s Funeral Chapel.
