The Poplar Bluff R-I school board had no contested elections this season and reorganized with all members in their previous positions during the brief April 7 board meeting. Board members Roger Hanner and Cynthia Brown repeated their oaths of office for new three-year terms. The board also nominated and unanimously appointed John Scott as president and Ken Davis as vice president once again...

The Poplar Bluff R-I school board had no contested elections this season and reorganized with all members in their previous positions during the brief April 7 board meeting.

Board members Roger Hanner and Cynthia Brown repeated their oaths of office for new three-year terms. The board also nominated and unanimously appointed John Scott as president and Ken Davis as vice president once again.

Committee appointments remained the same as well. They are as follows:

Adult Education Advisory Committee – Cynthia Brown

Audit Committee – Ken Davis, John Scott, Jerrod Murphy

Buildings & Grounds Committee – Ken Davis, John Scott, Roger Hanner

Building Trades Committee – Roger Hanner

Federal Programs Committee – Alana Robertson

Food Service Committee – Roger Hanner

Advisory Committee – John Scott

Health Advisory Committee – Cynthia Brown

Insurance Committee – Alana Robertson, Jerrod Murphy

Policy Committee – Cynthia Brown

Technology Committee – Tim Gaebler

Gaebler was named Missouri School Board Association delegate with Murphy as alternate.

Robertson was assigned to the Poplar Bluff Public School Foundation board.
