The Poplar Bluff Technical Career Center recently recognized nearly 40 students during an induction ceremony for the National Technical Honor Society.

“The goal of the National Technical Honor Society is to see that deserving technical students be recognized and that people of the community become aware of the talents and abilities of the young people and adults who choose technical education pathways to a successful future,” said TCC Director Charles Kinsey, during the March 22 ceremony.

The organization rewards scholastic achievement and awards scholarships, while seeking to maintain a strong, positive image for career and technical students. It also builds working partnerships with local businesses, industry and commerce.

Candy Taylor serves as NTHS advisor.
