ELLSINORE, Mo. — Theodore Harold “Teddy” Koerner went to his heavenly home March 21, 2022.
Teddy was born Nov. 10, 1938 to the late Theodore A. Koerner and Helen (Price) Koerner.
He had lived in Ellsinore, Missouri most of his life and attended the Ellsinore First Assembly of God Church. Teddy was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. He enjoyed doing word search puzzles, spending time with his family and special friends the Asher family. Teddy loved making people laugh and gave all of his special people nicknames. In addition to his parents, Teddy was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Nina Koerner; brother-in-law, Gary Leach and a special niece, Angie Barnett.
He is survived by two brothers, Robert (Shirley) Koerner of Marquand, Missouri, and Ronald (Pam) Koerner of Marion, Kentucky; one special sister, Sue Leach of Ellsinore, Missouri; one special niece, Kim (Ivan) Epperson; great-nephews and nieces, Trever Epperson, Savannah Barnett, Noah (Dusti) Epperson and Gracie Epperson; great-great nephews, Zaidyn Barnett and Easton Epperson.
He was loved by all that knew him and will be deeply missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will mourn his passing.
A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2022 in the McSpadden Funeral Home in Ellsinore, with the funeral services following at noon in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Scott Reynolds will be officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Ellsinore.
