MALDEN, Mo. — Kristi Hargrave of Malden passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at Evelyn’s House in St. Louis, Missouri. Kristi was born Thursday, Aug. 4, 1955 to W. D. MALDEN, Mo. — Kristi Hargrave of Malden passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at Evelyn’s House in St. Louis, Missouri.

Kristi was born Thursday, Aug. 4, 1955 to W. D. Hester and Marcia Lou Grimes Hester, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Kristi was a retired teacher’s aide at Malden Elementary school and was a retired co-owner of Malden Furniture.

She was also a devoted member of Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden, where her husband serves as Pastor.

On Aug. 23, 1975, she was united in marriage to Daniel Hargrave. He survives.

Other survivors include her mother, Marcia Hester; three daughters, Amy Nicole Hargrave, Anna Louise Hargrave Stout and husband, Dustin, all of Malden, and Abby Lyn Hargrave Asher and husband, Rich, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; two grandchildren, Sadie Gray Stout and Jack Oliver Stout of Malden; two stepgrandchildren, Michael Asher of Marissa, Illinois and Mae Asher of Prairie du Rocher; two brothers, Tim Hester and wife, April, of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Terry Hester and wife, Ranan, of Searcy, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kristi was preceded in death by her father, W. D. Hester.

Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, at the funeral home, with David Hargrave, Doug Hargrave, and Mike Grimes officiating.
