Officers responded to a burglary alarm at 11:37 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Grateful Headz in the 800 block of West Pine Street. A window was broken and a picture from inside the store was found outside the building. The owner reported nothing else seemed to be missing or disturbed.

POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT
Poplar Bluff firefighters responded to 1407 South Broadway at 7:15 p.m. Monday, March 14, to a report of an individual trying to start a fire in the area. According to reports, responding firefighters found no one, but walked through an empty lot looking for any signs of someone attempting to start a fire.

Firefighters responded to 805 Hendrix Street for a medical assist. According to the report, they assisted Butler County Emergency Medical Service load a patient to be transported.
BUTLER COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT
County firefighters responded at 12:18 p.m. Friday, March 11, to 2520 County Road 575. According to reports, the firefighters were unable to locate anything on fire.

County firefighters responded at 12:16 p.m. Saturday, March 12, to a mobile home fire at 640 County Road 468. According to reports, the house sustained heavy fire damage on the west end and smoke and water damage throughout. The owner was Brian Alcorn.
