Hunter N. Watkins, 20, of Piedmont was arrested at 2:33 a.m. Friday, March 11, in Wayne County on suspicion of DWI, minor in possession of alcohol and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. He was booked at the Wayne County jail on a 12-hour hold.
POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT
Firefighters were dispatched to 439 Karen Drive at 5:51 p.m. Thursday, March 10, to assist the Poplar Bluff Police Department with lighting and equipment.

Firefighters responded at 3:53 p.m. Thursday, March 10, to an alarm of an unauthorized burn in the area of Wilson and Hays streets. According to the report, firemen found trash on fire and occupants were advised of the city ordinance.

Firefighters were dispatched at 1:52 p.m. Thursday, March 10, to the corner of Martin Street and Wiseman Drive in reference to a motor vehicle accident. According to the report, a single passenger vehicle was overturned and in a ditch. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
