WILLIAMSVILLE, Mo. — Doris Buhler, 89, passed from this life on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at the home of her oldest daughter.

Doris was born in April 1932, in New Madrid County to William F. and Ethel (Kirk) Beard, and was, along with her twin brother Doyle, the youngest of six children.

Doris spent nearly six decades serving Jesus after coming to Christ at the Harviell Pentecostal Church and later attended Bluff City Apostolic Worship Center in Poplar Bluff for almost 30 years.

She is survived by her two daughters, Betty Cassinger and Peggy Carlstrom, both of Williamsville; three grandchildren, Mike Buhler and Kirsten Carlstrom, both of Williamsville, and Megan Carlstrom and her fiancé Josh Anderson, both of McKinleyville, California; and many nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Billy, Loyd and Doyle Beard; and two sisters, Ruth Francisco and Rosie Buhler.

There will be a celebration of life for Doris at a later date.
