Mabel Niswonger, 92, of Poplar Bluff died Jan. 13, 2022 at Puxico Nursing And Rehab.
She was born Feb. 15, 1929, to the late Charlie and Ester Herren in Corning, Ark. On April 16, 1948, she was united in marriage to Edward Niswonger. They enjoyed many happy years together. He survives.
She was a member of the Palace Of Praise in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed fishing and going to church.
Surviving are her children; Sharon Tate (Dave), Jerry Lee Niswonger, Patricia Sue Buczek (Robert), George Edward Niswonger Jr. (Pam), Pamela Lynn Castro (Milton); several grand and great grandchildren also survive, two brothers, Fred Herren and John Herren (Velma); one sister, Rita Kopka (Elman).
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by five siblings
Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 17, 2022 at Fowler Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff beginning at 2 p.m. with the funeral service starting at 3 p.m. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Pontotoc, Mississippi.
