Aaron P. Allen, 29, of Doniphan was booked Monday, Jan. 10, at the Butler County jail on a warrant for leaving the scene of an accident.

Monica L. Goodwin, 37, of the 2000 block of Highway 53 was booked Monday, Jan. 10, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of stealing a firearm. She later was released.

Dorothy T. R. Hall, 41, of Bismarck, Missouri, was booked Monday, Jan. 10, at the Butler County jail on a capias warrant for stealing.

Kevin H. Wallace, 36, of the 1900 block of County Road 523 was booked Monday, Jan. 10, at the Butler County jail on a failure to appear warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Gunner A. Davidson, 22, no address listed, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, in the 900 block of Park Avenue on a probation violation warrant for third-degree assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Shane T. Robinson, 35, of the 2300 block of Kentucky was arrested at 6:34 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, on Highway 53 on a Butler County probation violation warrant for non-support. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters were dispatched at 6:28 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, to the 1814 Thomas St. residence occupied by Brandy McMullen, where juveniles were found burning items in a roadside ditch. Firefighters used 15 gallons of water to put the fire out and notified the occupants of the city’s burning ordinance.

Firefighters responded at 5:04 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, to a reported structure fire at the 924 Ivadene Road home owned by Carolyn Rivers. Upon arrival, they found an exterior wall on fire and they had to tear it out to put the fire out using 25 gallons of water. It was determined a smoldering ember from an earlier grass fire, which burned against the house, likely got under the foundation and rekindled. Firefighters responded to the earlier fire at 3:44 p.m. and used 20 gallons of water to put it out.

Firefighters responded at 4:27 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, to a report of smoke in the area of Bedoll and Glendale. Upon arrival, firefighters found a pile of leaves burning at 2057 Cravens Lane and told the occupant the fire had to be out by dark.

BUTLER COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT

County firefighters responded at 10:35 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, to a reported fifth-wheel camper fire on Ridiera Lane. The camper was a total loss.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Deborah J. Davis, 56, of Van Buren was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, in Carter County on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released.
