Filing for local elections has ended. The Three Rivers College board of trustees saw two members’ seats expire, both filed for reelection and one is facing opposition.
Board president Wesley Payne announced that within sub-district 4, incumbent treasurer Darren Garrison’s term ended and he filed for reelection. Joyce Rehkop also filed for his seat.
Payne also said board chair Gary Featherston of sub-district 3 filed for reelection and is unopposed, “so no election will happen for that seat.”
The election will be held April 5.
