Bonnie Louise Polaski, nee Rievley, 77, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, on Dec. 17, 2021. She is now resting in the arms of Jesus.

Bonnie was born July 26, 1944, to Hugh Joshua Rievley and Stella Elvira Moore Rievley in Dudley, Missouri. Bonnie was a lifelong resident of the Poplar Buff area.

She married Walter Polaski Jr in November of 1981. Together they were parents to five children. Bonnie was a Christian, and at one time sang with a gospel group for many years. She was definitely a very talented, self-taught person. When she set her mind to accomplish something, she did so.

She was a talented seamstress and worked at Gossard Garment Factory for many years. Later, she spent many years working for Chung Medical Clinic and Kneibert Clinic, along with owning her own wedding business. She loved photography, making cakes and flower arranging.

Upon retiring from Kneibert Clinic, she became a nanny for Dr. Naveed and Amber Mirza’s family. Soon, Bonnie became more than a nanny, she became family. She loved her family and friends dearly.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, David Robbins and infant son Wesley Keele; brother Paul Rievley; and sister Reta Roberts; infant grandchildren Stephen and Stephanie Bishop; and son-in-law Roy Adams Sr.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia (Steven) Bishop of Pacific, Missouri; Marsha (Thomas) Parsons of Marthasville, Missouri; Christine (Richard) Gordon of Poplar Bluff; stepson Walter (Peggy) Polaski of Villa Ridge, Missouri; and daughter-in -law Christina (Gene) Hill of Wappapello, Missouri; bonus daughter Amber (Naveed) Mirza; grandchildren, Danielle Bishop, Roy (Jackie) Adams, Sherri Adams, Dustin (Ashley) Adams, Molly (Justin Carter) Parsons, Mary (Ethan) Morris, Jessica (Brian) Sandlin, Joshua (Amanda) Fitzwater, Maria (Josh) Colbert, Cory (Sarah) Keele, Shannon (Josh) Buchholz, Shawn (Michayla Payne) Polaski and Hamiz, Amelia, and Ramiz Mirza; god-son Shawn Boyer; sisters Della Baker, Brenda Beckham and Becky Mize; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and many, many friends.

Visitation was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, with services beginning at 1 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Rev. Roy Adams Jr. officiated. Burial was at Little Brushy Cemetery in Wappapello.
