Rose Carol Shriver, 75, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at Oakdale Care Center. Carol, the daughter of Tommy E. Rose Carol Shriver, 75, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at Oakdale Care Center.

Carol, the daughter of Tommy E. Sr. and Clyte (nee, Lacy) Marshall Kearbey, was born July 5, 1946, in Mark Tree, Arkansas.

She had retired from Butler County Health Department as a Home Health Caregiver. Over the years, Carol and her husband were involved with the VFW, where they helped establish a Veterans section at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, fishing, canning, embroidery work, quilting and watching western movies and Cardinal Baseball games. Her true passion was taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren and anyone else that needed help.

She was married to Kenneth Wayne Shriver on June 13, 1991. He preceded her in death on June 12, 2010.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son Bennie Foster, a grandson Jeremy Allen, her brothers, Wayne Marshall, Dale Marshall and Tommy Marshall, Jr., and her sister, Dianah Marshall.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Krystal (Jason) Dover and Shonda Martin; five grandchildren, Michael Allen, Anthony Little, Austynn Dover, Kaleb Dover and Rozlynn Dover; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Marshall, Sr., Kenny Marshall, and Terry Marshall, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

The visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at Willow Ridge Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. Family member Kay Marshall will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
