DEXTER, Mo. — James Q. Smith, 92, of Poplar Bluff passed away at home Dec. 9, 2021.
James was born in Arkansas Dec. 22, 1928 to Helen Coggins Smith and Elzie F. Smith. He lived in Poplar Bluff for many years and had several business ventures though out his life.
James is survived by his wife Linda; stepson Sam; one sister Donna Kendrick and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; one sister Edna; four brothers Larry, Sherman, Charles and John, and one son Allan.
Funeral for James was at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec.13, 2021 at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
