Melba Louise Lourance, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Dec. 5, 2021, at her home.

Melba was born Aug. 10, 1945, to Kenneth and Dorothy (Stucker) in Poplar Bluff. She married Clyne Lourance Oct. 19, 1974, at Cane Creek Church in Poplar Bluff.

She enjoyed plastic canvas, crocheting, and cross-stitching in her free time. She also liked bird watching and tending to her plants. Her greatest joy was spoiling and spending time with her many grandchildren.

Melba is survived by her husband, Clyne Lourance; four children, Tina (Daniel) Sprague, Patricia (Lee) Ward, Jody (Erica) Lourance, and Melissa (Alvaro) Maza; one brother, Kenneth (Imagene) Barnes; one sister, Debra Spangler; 12 grandchildren, Felicia (Andy), Johnathan, Bryce, Matthew, Rhylee, Jesse (Mariah), Sarah (Trevor), Lena (Kayden), Shallyn (Chase), Reegan (Thomas), Aimon, and Kayson; 10 great-grandchildren, Abby, AJ, Aria, Mia, Martin, Isabella, Lakeland, Adaline, Peyton and Ella.

Melba was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gary Barnes, and Darrell Barnes; one sister, Patricia Barnes

Visitation will be held from 1 -2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ben Higgins officiating. Burial will take place at Sparkman Cemetery in Butler County.
