ADVANCE, Mo. — Johnnie Marie Withrow, 69, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, passed away Nov. 18, 2021 at the Heartland Care and Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 23, 1952 in Advance, Missouri, the daughter of Richard and Betty Alton McCain.
Johnnie worked for 20 years with the disabled for the State of Missouri at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center in Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Berkley, Missouri.
Johnnie and Delbert Withrow were united in marriage July 29, 1974 in Butler County, Missouri and he preceded her in death May 6, 2021.
Survivors include: two sons, Jeremy (Linda) Withrow and John (Amber) Withrow, both of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Richard Dale McCain of Kennewick, Washington; a sister, Mary Lou Stevens of Scott City; a grandchild and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and her sister, Nancy Abner.
Visitation and funeral were Monday, Nov. 22, 2021 at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance with Rev. John Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
