A Fisk man is facing child molestation charges after an incident that allegedly occurred at his residence in September.
Alvin E. Burns, 49, of Fisk is facing three Class B felony charges of second-degree child molestation involving a child under the age of 12.
According to the probable cause statement by Butler County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Brandon Lowe, he and Missouri State Highway Patrolman David Patton interviewed Burns at MSHP headquarters.
During the course of this interview, Burns reportedly admitted to inappropriately touching a juvenile female under the age of 12.
Burns also allegedly admitted to wrestling with the aforementioned juvenile female and another juvenile female under the age of 12 and using it as an opportunity to group them and inappropriately touch them.
In addition, there have reportedly been additional allegations made against Burns by the two alleged victims, accusing him of groping and inappropriate touching.
Burns is being held without bond at the Butler County jail. He was slated to be arraigned Monday. If convicted, Burns faces five to 15 years in prison on each charge.
