Firefighters responded to a call reporting a fire at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, in an alley on Eighth Street. Upon arrival, they discovered an unauthorized burn in the backyard of 603 N. Eighth St. They used a booster line and 20 gallons of water to put the fire out.
