PIGGOTT, Ark. — Daniel Lee Burr, 53, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Oct. 27, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 10, 1968, in Columbia, Missouri, and was the son of Ronnie and Patricia (Howell) Burr.
Daniel was united in marriage to Anita (Porter) Burr Aug. 22, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie C. Burr Sr.; brother, David Burr; and sister, Melissa Loughary.
Daniel graduated from Piggott High School in 1987. He worked over 20 years for the County as Road Superintendent. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, and especially loved hunting and fishing. He participated in car shows and showing off his new show truck. He liked spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed farming and he loved karaoke.
Daniel is survived by his wife Anita Burr; two sons, Dakota Burr of Memphis, Tennessee and Blake (Tasha) Duffy of Springfield, Missouri; two daughters, Shayna (Joseph Tilmon) Duffy of Hayti, Missouri, and Tara (Austin) Lance of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Ashton, Carson, Lexy, Madison, Brooklyn, Paxton, Olivia, Lucas, and Colton; two brothers, Larry (Kathy) Burr of Columbia, Missouri, and Ronnie Burr, Jr. of Charleston, South Carolina; sister, Nathalie Burr of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation is from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas with funeral services following with Bro. Kevin Murray officiating. A burial will be held at a later date in Mitchell Cemetery, Greenway, Arkansas.
